Dr. Sean Henderson earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Utah and he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He went on to complete his urology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2010-2015.

During his residency training, Dr. Henderson received recognition for his devotion to patients and research including the 2014-2015 resident of the year, served as chief urology resident during his last year of training and was nationally recognized for the 2015 ACOS (American College of Osteopathic Surgeons) resident achievement award. He later served as a board member of the ACOS for 2 years.

Because of his love for helping and treating cancer patients, he pursued additional training and completed a fellowship in robotic surgery for urological oncology and reconstruction using the da Vinci® Robotic platform at Ohiohealth Methodist Hospital, a member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network®, in Dublin, Ohio from 2015-2016.

He joined the Urology Clinic of Utah Valley in August 2016, which merged with Granger Medical Clinic, Summit Urology Group in 2018. He is an active member of the American Urological Association and is board certified in Urological Surgery. He treats a wide range of urological diseases with a focus on urological cancers using robotic surgery.

He enjoys outdoor activities and sports. He has been married for almost 16 years and together, he and his wife have 4 children.
